A Problem May Exist with The Interior And Exterior Lights Varying in Brightness Due to a Bad Voltage Regulator Ground Screwon the Back of the Alternator. A Good Tight Connection is Needed Between the Regulator and the Rear Housing of the Alternator Through This Ground (Hold-Down) Screw. GM Has a Screw (P/N 10316685 - Kit ) Available if Necessary. The Valeo 13943 Used on Later Models And This 13771 Are Direct Replacements for Each Other.
