This is a 120A Bosch Alternator for Various 1999-05 Volvo Models. This Unit Looks Different Than Earlier Bosch Alternators for Volvo in That the OE Number is Found on the Rear Bearing Cover - in the Same Place as the Mexican Built Bosch Alternators for the 1999 GM and Chrysler Vehicles. This Unit Looks Like the 13802 Except the Internal Parts are Different the 13801 Uses a Clutch Pulley and They Use Different Voltage Regulators (They will Not Interchange). The 140A Version of the 13801 is the 13998. It Has Been Reported That the Rotor Threads (and Rotor Nut) are Left-Hand Rather Than the Conventional Right-Hand Thread (the Alternator is Designed for CCwRotation). This is Very Important to Know on the Clutch Pulley Applications as the Test Bench will Have to Be Switched to CCw Rotation for Testing Purposes. |
